Acceptance of Terms

1.1. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern any purchase, commission, or use of digital products and services offered by Beastlys (“Beastlys,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By placing an order, commissioning work, downloading a digital product, or otherwise using our services, you (“Customer,” “you”) agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not place an order or use our services.

1.2. These Terms may be updated from time to time (see Section 11). Continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

About Beastlys

2.1. Beastlys is a Minecraft-focused shop and community offering the following:

Custom builds & schematics — bespoke in-game structures, terrain, or downloadable schematic files.
Server ranks, perks & in-game currency — purchases tied to the Beastlys Minecraft server.
Resource packs, skins & textures — custom or pre-made visual assets for use in Minecraft.
Plugins & server setup services — custom plugins, configuration, or setup help for other server owners.

2.2. Beastlys currently operates informally across the United Kingdom and the Philippines and is not yet incorporated as a single registered legal entity (see Section 10 for how this affects governing law). We reserve the right to update our offerings, pricing, and availability at any time.

Ordering, Pricing & Payment

3.1. Orders and commission requests may be placed through the channels Beastlys makes available (e.g. shop listings, direct messages, or a request form). An order or commission is only confirmed once Beastlys accepts it and, where applicable, a deposit or full payment is received.

3.2. Prices are listed at the time of order and are subject to change without notice for future orders; a price change does not affect an order already confirmed. Accepted payment methods and currency will be specified at checkout or agreed directly with the customer. Customers are responsible for any transaction or currency-conversion fees charged by their payment provider.

Commissions Process

4.1. The commission process works as follows:

Deposit: Commissions typically require a non-refundable-once-work-begins deposit (see Section 6 for how this interacts with refunds) to secure a place in the queue.
Scope: The agreed description, references, and any specified limitations form the basis of the commission. Requests outside this scope (e.g. major changes after work has started) may incur additional charges or delay.
Revisions: A reasonable number of revisions will be offered during the sketch/draft stage, as agreed per commission type. Revisions requested after final delivery may be treated as a new request.
Turnaround: Estimated turnaround times are provided as a guide, not a guarantee, and may vary based on queue length and complexity. Beastlys will communicate any significant delays.
Approval: The customer is responsible for reviewing and approving work at each agreed checkpoint (e.g. sketch, final) before production continues.

Delivery of Digital Products & In-Game Items

5.1. Delivery depends on the type of product purchased:

In-game items (ranks, perks, currency): applied directly to the in-game account/username provided by the customer at checkout. Customers are responsible for providing the correct, currently active username.
Builds, schematics, resource packs & plugins: delivered electronically (e.g. by download link or direct file transfer) once payment is confirmed.

5.2. Customers are responsible for keeping their own backup copies of delivered files. File formats and any included licence terms will be described at the point of purchase. Beastlys is not responsible for issues caused by the customer’s own device, software, an incorrect username, or lost/deleted files after delivery.

Refunds & Cancellations

6.1. Refunds are considered on a partial basis, calculated according to the work completed or time elapsed at the point of cancellation:

Before work begins: Deposits/payments may be refunded in full, less any payment processing fees.
After work begins: A partial refund reflecting the proportion of work already completed (e.g. sketch stage vs. near-final) will be offered; the remainder is retained to cover work done.
After final delivery: Digital products and completed commissions are non-refundable once delivered, except where the work materially fails to match the agreed brief.
Beastlys-initiated cancellation: If Beastlys is unable to complete a commission, the customer will receive a full refund for any undelivered portion.

6.2. Refund requests should be raised as soon as possible via the contact details in Section 12.

7. Intellectual Property & Usage Rights

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Beastlys retains ownership and copyright of all builds, schematics, plugins, resource packs, and other digital products it creates. Purchasing a digital product or commission grants the customer a personal-use licence to use or display the delivered work, but does not transfer copyright.

Customers may not resell, redistribute, or claim authorship of commissioned work or digital products without prior written permission.
Commercial use (e.g. use on other servers for profit, resale of schematics or plugins) requires a separate agreement unless explicitly included at purchase.
Server ranks, perks, and in-game currency are non-transferable, have no cash value outside the game, and may be modified, suspended, or revoked in line with server rules.
Beastlys reserves the right to display completed builds, commissions, and digital products in its own portfolio, server showcase, and marketing, unless the customer requests privacy in writing before work begins.
Customers must have the right to request any reference material, likeness, or existing design they provide for a commission, and agree not to submit material that infringes another party’s rights.

8. Content Guidelines

Beastlys is a safe-for-work (SFW) shop. We do not accept, produce, or deliver requests involving mature, adult, or NSFW content, and we do not create content that is hateful, discriminatory, or otherwise illegal in the UK or the Philippines.

Beastlys reserves the right to decline any request that falls outside these guidelines, at its sole discretion, and to cancel an in-progress order that is found to violate them (with a partial refund per Section 6 where applicable).

9. Limitation of Liability & Disclaimers

Digital products and commissioned work are provided “as is.” Beastlys makes reasonable efforts to ensure quality and accuracy but does not guarantee that products will be free of minor errors, or that they will meet every subjective expectation beyond the agreed brief.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Beastlys is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from use of its products or services, including loss of data, profits, or opportunity. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (e.g. for fraud or gross negligence).

10. Governing Law & Disputes

10.1. Beastlys currently operates across both the United Kingdom and the Philippines without a single formally registered business entity. Accordingly:

These Terms are intended to be interpreted fairly under the general principles of both England & Wales law and Philippine law, whichever provides the more relevant consumer protections for the customer’s location, until Beastlys formally registers in one jurisdiction.
Both parties agree to first attempt to resolve any dispute informally and in good faith by contacting Beastlys directly (Section 12).
If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it will be handled through the courts or applicable consumer-dispute resolution process of the customer’s country of residence, where required by local consumer law, or otherwise through the courts of England & Wales.

10.2. Note: Beastlys plans to designate a single governing jurisdiction once formally registered; this section should be revisited at that point.

Changes to These Terms

11.1. Beastlys may revise these Terms at any time to reflect changes to our services, legal requirements, or business operations (including once a single registered entity and jurisdiction are established). Material changes will be posted with an updated effective date. Orders already confirmed are governed by the Terms in effect at the time of order, unless a change is required by law.

Minecraft Trademark Disclaimer

13.1. Beastlys is an independent shop and server and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Mojang Studios or Microsoft. “Minecraft” is a trademark of Mojang Synergies AB. All builds, plugins, resource packs, and other products are intended for use within Minecraft and must comply with Minecraft’s Commercial Usage Guidelines and End User License Agreement (EULA).
